GALLO is an all-Italian success story of a company that started in Milan back in 1927 before moving to the town of Desenzano del Garda in the late '30s, where the historic Gallo factory still stands today. Here, the value of traditional craftsmanship and an appetite for advanced manufacturing technology go hand-in-hand. Knowledge passed down, raw materials and craftsmanship are fundamental, as are the Bentley looms used, to this day, to create exceptional products and collections that stand apart. GALLO only selects and uses twisted and doubled premium-quality yarns: extra-fine merino wool, pure lisle thread, linen, cashmere and pure silk, all of which are extremely thin and comfortable. Like every work of art, GALLO socks have their own special mark – the distinctive white thread that is used to link the toe to the foot of the sock. This stitching is a timeless art that, to this day, is done by hand in house.
