The origins of the Italian label MONCLER are in France. Back in the 1950's MONCLER started to develop equipment for miners and climbers for extremely cold climates. At the Olympic Winter Games 1968 in Grenoble MONCLER was the official supplier of the French Alpine ski team.
In the 1980s, MONCLER finally transformed into a lifestyle brand to the presentation of a complete fashion collection in 1999. The focus of the line, however, is still on the highest quality down jackets, their shapes and materials are constantly being developed.
